This zine depicts when art and design are merged, they become a powerful tool for communication. These illustrations express the constant struggle I undergo on a daily basis from having to shift my mindset and choose between fine art and design. They are also a representation of the pros and cons of each field that merge together in order to create a graceful story.
I decided to reflect the story through the use of various paper stocks as well as experimenting with different patterns, paper sizes, and paper folders. This zine features full color illustrations that combine negative spaces, which make lines flow into the spreads.
Humanity has not realized how silently the chemicals in our laundry are affecting the human body. Toxic chemicals are being camouflaged on detergents labels. This is why I have chosen this subject, to make society aware of this issue.
Laundry Chemicals expresses and explores different areas in science and industrial terms. The project begin by taking a simple image from a laundry machine in process, which captures the beauty of something ordinary like doing laundry. The visuals come from distorting the image several times, and getting different results each time until it is not recognizable. A bright, colorful, cohesive palette was chosen to represent the appeal with the branding detergents that are on the market. The liquefy forms make emphasis to the texture and solidness of chemical detergent. The layout composition of this series of poster it is inspired on the periodic table, having the component and their explanation on the bottom of the pieces.
Album Art created for Breakbot - French electro-funk producer affiliated with Ed Banger Records, based in Paris.
Inspired by glitch art, I shifted the image to create a mellow feel, complementing the lo-fi electronic element of Breakbot. I challenged myself in creating a new image for Breakbot, different from his previous work. The photograph from the 60’s was selected to create a vintage theme and bringing the images alive with glitch, in order to have the overlap of funky with electronic/digital style. I chose a minimalistic composition layout and a small color palette in order to make the album art cohesive.
UI/UX design highlights the two major features of Amsterdam: bikes and beer. The site was informed by research I conducted searching for the most popular and sought after places of the city, and is designed for both locals and tourists.
The design is simple. Its effect allows the viewers to clearly understand the concept of the company and the style that flows from it. The design is built according to the principles of simplicity, cleanliness, and interactiveness.

Kahlo & Dali
Illustration of two surrealism genius; Frida Kahlo and Salvador Dalí. These are two types of illustration styles blending together, trying to make a whole image. The composition also emphasizes the two selected quotes, which broadly refers to the same message. A collage look was intentionally created on the poster.
Illustration of the song “Be Happy Aquí” by Masseratti 2lts. A venezuelan non-traditional Folklore band. It was created through experimentation with watercolors and other fluids. The accordion binding approach draws inspiration from the ocean's nighttime waves. The sandpaper texture is reminiscent of the sandy feet I always get at the beach. With this piece, I am sharing my perspective of the sea, abstracted through traditional linoleum carving techniques. I see the sea as an infinite, colorful and powerful wave that radiates relaxing vibes, connecting me with nature.
This Piece won 1st place at the Distortion Show in book binding/mixed media.
